Registration and enrolment
Start your studies at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in just a few simple steps. Register via Studielink, submit your documents, and discover if your chosen programme is the right fit during the Study Choice Check. Once admitted and your tuition fees are paid, your enrolment is complete and your Zuyd journey can begin.
Step 1: Register via Studielink
Studielink is the Netherlands university application platform, available in English and German. If you live in the Netherlands, log in with your DigiD. If you’re applying from abroad, create an account to register.
Important: In some cases, you may also need to register directly with the study programme itself, especially if there are additional admission requirements. Be sure to check the specific instructions for your chosen programme.
Step 2: Submit application documents
After registering, Zuyd will e-mail you with a list of required documents like passport copy, diploma and language certificate.
Step 3: Study Choice Check
This is a relaxed chat to help you feel confident about your study choice. It’s voluntary and not a test. Some programmes do this on campus, others online. You’ll get an invitation after applying.
Step 4: Admission check
We’ll review your documents and inform you if anything is missing. When everything is complete, you’ll receive your official acceptance through Studielink.
Step 5: Pay tuition fees
Your enrolment is only complete once you pay tuition. EU citizens can set up a direct debit via Studielink. Non-EU citizens pay tuition before we can apply for your student visa. After payment and visa approval, you’ll be notified to collect your visa at the Dutch embassy or consulate.
