Conservatorium Maastricht – Classical Department is about a 20-minute walk from Maastricht Central Station.

If you prefer the bus, take lines 3, 4, 9 or 34 and get off at Tongersestraat. Cross the street and enter through the large green gate of Maastricht University. Walk down across the car park and through the iron gate.

Is the gate closed? Follow this alternative route: Cross the street, turn left, take the first street on your right and walk across Academieplein. At the end of the square, you’ll find the stairs leading down to Bonnefantenstraat — you’ve arrived!

The Jazz and Education Department is within walking distance of Maastricht Central Station (about 6 minutes).

1. Walk straight down Stationsstraat until you reach the traffic lights.
2. Cross towards the city centre and turn right into Wilhelminasingel.
3. Head towards the Wilhelminabrug, but just before the bridge, take the service road on the right – you’ll be walking alongside the river Maas.
4. Go under the viaduct and turn left.
5. The building you’re now walking around is the Jazz and Education Department.

At Randwyck station, take the stairs down to the right. You’ll arrive on Universiteitssingel — turn left. The university building will be on your right. At the second T-junction, turn right: the building Universiteitssingel 60 will be on your left.

On foot

From Sittard station, take the tunnel exit towards Stationsplein/Centrum.

1. In the central hall, take the exit on the left (where taxis and pick-ups are located).
2. Cross diagonally towards Stationsstraat – a pedestrian area.
3. Follow the shopping street via Stationsstraat and Steenweg until you reach the intersection with Rijksweg Noord/Zuid.
4. Cross the street and immediately turn left onto Rijksweg Noord.
5. After about 200 metres, turn right into Willie Hillenstraat.
6. After roughly 75 metres, you’ll see Zuyd University of Applied Sciences on your left, at the square.

Paid parking is available at Oda Parking or Ligne Parking.

The location is also easy to reach on foot. From Sittard station, take the exit towards the city centre. Cross the street from Stationsplein and turn right. At the T-junction, turn left into Wilhelminastraat. Cross the street and after about 100 metres, turn right into Mgr. Claessensstraat.
