At Zuyd Hogeschool, we have an academic calendar that includes the teaching weeks, holidays and public holidays. This calendar provides a general framework. Your personal timetable may differ and will be provided by your programme.

- Carnival break: 14–22 February 2026
- Good Friday and Easter: 3–6 April 2026
- King’s Day: 27 April 2026
- May break: 25 April – 3 May 2026
- Liberation Day: 5 May 2026
- Ascension Day: 14–15 May 2026
- Pentecost: 24–25 May 2026
- Summer break*: 11 July – 30 August 2026
Academic year 2026-2027
- Start of academic year: Monday 31 August 2026
- Autumn break: 17–25 October 2026
- Christmas break: 19 December 2026 – 3 January 2027
- Carnival break: 6–14 February 2027
- Good Friday and Easter: 26–29 March 2027
- May break: 24 April – 9 May 2027 (incl. King’s Day, Liberation Day and Ascension Day)
- Pentecost: 16–17 May 2027
- Summer break*: 17 July – 5 September 2027
* During the summer break, resits take place and some programmes may schedule the first-year introduction (final week). Check with your programme for the exact dates.
