Minors
Find the minor that really suits you.
At Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, you can add colour to your studies - for example, through your choice of minors. To complement, specialise, or broaden your knowledge, you’ll take a set of elective courses in a specific field during your bachelor’s programme - also known as a minor. The choice is yours!
You can choose a minor within your own programme, or explore one from a different field. Or perhaps you’d like to take a minor that prepares you for a master’s degree at a university? It’s all possible!
Different types of minors
Block format and continuous format
A block minor is a full-time programme that you follow over a period of 10 weeks.
A continuous minor takes place part-time, with classes spread out over at least 20 weeks.
In some cases, full-time students can also take a continuous minor.
Programme-specific minor
You specialise in a topic related to your own study programme.
Zuydminor
It focuses on at least two different fields of study and prepares you to work with people from various disciplines.
Pre-master minor
Several of our programmes offer a pre-master minor. This minor prepares you for a university master’s degree.
