Paying your tuition fee - here's how
Paying your tuition fee
As a student at Zuyd, you’ll need to pay tuition every academic year, even if you're just doing your internship. But no worries: here’s what you need to know, step by step.
When's the deadline?
Make sure your tuition fee is paid before 1 September. For February starters, the deadline is 31 January at the latest. Sometimes payments don’t go through. If that happens, get in touch with us right away:
Email address: accounts.receivable@zuyd.nl
Telephone number: +31 (0)88 989 30 03 (Mo-Fri from 09-12.00h)
How can you pay?
Option 1: Pay via Studielink
If you’ve got a bank account in a SEPA country, you can arrange a digital direct debit (continuous authorisation) via Studielink. Once arranged, your tuition fees will be transferred automatically every year, no need to repeat the whole process. You can choose:
- All at once: If you start your studies in September, the full amount will be taken from your account around 27 September (or around 27 February if you start in February).
- In 10 instalments: From September to June. Just know the one-time admin fee of €24, which is included in your first payment.
Tip: Arrange this in Studielink as early as possible to avoid delays.

Option 2: Your employer pays
If you’re working alongside your studies, your employer might help cover the costs. 3 options:
- They pay via continuous authorisation (see above).
- You pay yourself and reclaim it from your employer. Just download your proof of enrollment from Osiris to include with your request.
- Your employer prefers an invoice? No problem, just fill in the employer guarantee form together (available in Dutch pdf), and we’ll send out the invoice.
Living outside the EU?
You can't pay via Studielink. Please transfer the full tuition fee before 1 September (or before 1 February if you start in February). International transfers can take a few days, so plan ahead!
