Admission and Enrolment
Diploma check
You need a valid diploma to study at Zuyd. Find out what your diploma is worth in the Netherlands. If you have applied for a study programme via Studielink, we will apply an official document for you, free of charge. This document says which Dutch level matches your diploma.
Language level
You must be able to speak, read, write and understand Dutch well. For most programmes, you need level B2. More info about the language exams. If you want to become a primary school teacher, you need level C1.
Would you like to follow an English-taught programme? Then your English must also be at least level B2. You can show this with a valid IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge certificate. TOEFL and IELTS certificates are valid for 2 years. Cambridge certificates do not expire.
If you have a secondary school diploma from a European Union (EU) country, you do not need a language certificate.
Enrolling in a programme
Do you know which study you want to follow and do you meet the requirements? Great! Then apply via Studielink.
Paying for your studies
Studying costs money. You have to pay tuition fees, and also for books and a laptop.
Just like Dutch students, you can apply for student finance. This is a loan from the government. You can find more information on the DUO website.
